Elder Kyle Andrus

Hello everyone!!!

This week was pretty good!! This week was thanksgiving. So there was no thanksgiving to be had in the motherland. But we decided to have thanksgiving with a bunch of chinese people!!! We introduced them to the Awesomeness that is Thanksgiving!!! I made mashed potatoes which were pretty good and tried to make a pumpkin pie... didnt turn out so good. But it was a blast anyways!!! It also really helped the work move along. We had a bunch of recent converts and a bunch of investigators and some new investigators come with their friends. They all brought food as well so it was amazing to see all of the chinese people and their friends all coming together and being able to learn about the gospel as well!!! it was a way fun night and we are looking forward to maybe doing something like that again.

Wen Qian (Carrie) is doing way well. yesterday she recieved the holy ghost and she is doing amazing. She is progressing and she is doing all the things she needs to do. She is becoming way good friends with a bunch of people at church which is way good because when we leave she knows that she always has friends there as well. Which is everything we can hope for. It has been amazing watching her progress and accept the gospel.

Jing Hui is also doing amazing. She is hilarious and just is continuing to be awesome and staying really strong in the church. So that is amazing. All we could ask for.

We had some really good lessons as well with Lu and others. But definatly the hilight of the week was the thanksgiving dinner with all of the chinese people.

i dont know if you guys have heard about the He is the gift campaign that the church is doing, but we are getting really involved with that. So if you guys havent seen the video i would encourage you guys to watch the video on youtube and share it. It is an amazing video and shourld really be shared.
