Dear Friends and Family,

This week was super great! Lots of great things continue to happen here in Fort Hancock.

On Thursday we went to Sierra Blanca because the Diez family didn't come to church, and they don't have a phone or anyway to get ahold of them except talking to them in person. Sierra Blanca is about 1 hour away. They live in a trailer in the middle of a field. Elder and Sister Kimble drove us down there but we weren't able to find them in their house! We asked all over the place for them. We are going to go down again this week and hopefully they will be there!

Also for Halloween we did just as we planned! We got some pumpkins and carved "church related phrases" in them and handed out candy to people out of the bed of our truck with the Elder's that live in Fabens. It seemed to go pretty well!

One thing we've been trying to focus on in our lessons is the Book of Mormon and how any question can be answered through it, and how if you have any doubts about the church all you have to do is read The Book of Mormon. The Lord has promised to give us an answer. Its as simple as read, pray, and act in faith.
